October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There are so many events going on that we can’t keep up. But we’ll do our best to keep you informed about what’s going on around Los Angeles and the rest of the country. Get aware! Then get involved.

THE AVON WALK NEW YORK OCTOBER 15-16

The Avon Walk New York provides an opportunity like no other – on the weekend of October 15-16, 2011 we’ll give you a true walking tour of the Big Apple including all the sites and landmarks of the city that never sleeps!

• “Let’s Walk” – A participation guide for Walkers and Crew
• Directions & Parking Information – For all key event locations
• Cheering Stations – route locations to safely visit & support family and friends!
• Opening Ceremony Information– Hudson River Park’s Pier 84
• Wellness Village  – Randall’s Island
• Closing Ceremony– Hudson River Park’s Pier 84

We’ll walk up to 26.2 miles on Saturday, and 13.1 miles on Sunday-all so that women and men can get the medical care they need regardless of their ability to pay, and leading research teams can receive vital support in their ongoing search for a cure.

GodChicks Night of Pink
