Every 30 days your body creates a whole new layer of skin. The quickest way to help shed old skin to rejuvenate the new one is to exfoliate to reveal fresh new skin. Here are three easy steps to help peel away the old layers.
Step 1. Prep. Exfoliating the skin should be the very last thing you do before leaving the shower. Your skin should be hydrated so the scrub doesn’t scratch. Start out once a week then increase up to three times a week.
Step 2. Polish. Work the product into your skin with a gentle circular motion to cut down on friction.
Step 3. Protect. Exfoliated skin is fragile because the protection is removed. Follow up with a thick moisturizing cream to keep the skin soft and restore the lipid barrier.
